Institutional & Educational Space Design
We create learning environments that balance professional functionality with a welcoming atmosphere, tailored to the specific needs of schools and institutions across Delhi NCR.
A walkthrough of a school's administrative block, showcasing the main reception, waiting areas, and office cabins. We focused on a cohesive design language that is both professional for staff and welcoming for students and parents.
This video provides different views of the administration block we designed for a school in Ghaziabad. It highlights the flow between the reception, waiting lounge, and private offices, all designed with a modern and functional approach.
A custom-designed three-way curved sofa serves as the centerpiece for this school's reception lounge. The vibrant teal upholstery adds a splash of color, while the ergonomic shape provides comfortable and practical seating for visitors.
Another view of the school reception waiting area. The space is designed with durable marble-finish flooring, subtle wall paneling, and ample overhead lighting to create a bright and clean environment.
This angle shows the relationship between the custom seating, the structural column wrapped in wood fluting, and the entryways to adjacent offices. The design ensures smooth circulation and a visually connected space.
A close-up of the channel-tufted backrest on the reception sofa. We believe quality is in the details, and this custom furniture piece was crafted for both durability in a high-traffic area and visual appeal.
Trust the process. Here is the reception back wall during the carpentry phase, showing the plywood and veneer framework before the final finishes were applied. This is where the design on paper begins to take physical form.
About Institutional & Educational Spaces
In educational settings, the design needs to handle high footfall without looking sterile. We balance durability with visual appeal, using materials like commercial-grade laminates and heavy-duty glass partitions that stand up to daily use while keeping the reception area inviting for visitors.
When we design an educational institution, we are not just placing furniture. We are creating the first point of contact between the school and its community. Our approach to these spaces is rooted in functionality and longevity.
Reception areas require a specific balance. They need to look clean and professional for parents, yet be built with materials that survive years of high traffic. In our projects, we often use commercial-grade ply for base structures, paired with high-quality veneers and scratch-resistant laminates. We incorporate glass partitions to maintain a sense of openness, allowing natural light to flow through administrative blocks. This helps staff feel connected while maintaining necessary privacy.
Furniture in these spaces must be both ergonomic and resilient. Whether it is a custom-curved sofa for a lounge or a reception desk, we design for comfort. We prefer high-density foam and durable upholstery because we know these pieces will be used by hundreds of people every week. We avoid delicate, high-maintenance decor in favor of robust, well-constructed elements.
Construction is often a messy and chaotic phase, but it is a necessary part of the process. From the initial framework where you see the skeleton of the reception back wall, to the final handover, we involve our clients in the journey. This transparency helps ensure the final space is not just a building, but an environment that fosters learning and growth.
