Pregnancy is not just one person's work, it is a family journey. Here, I show you how husbands and grandparents can actively support and care for the expecting mother and the new baby.

How can a husband support his breastfeeding wife? Small things make a huge difference. Offer to burp the baby, make sure she has water and food, and give her emotional support. Your presence and help are her biggest strengths.

Nature chose dads, too. When a man becomes a father, his body also produces oxytocin, the love hormone. This is nature's way of saying that parenting is a shared role. A father's love and care are just as important.

These men are the change our sons need to see. In my offline couples session, fathers learn to support their partners physically and emotionally through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. An involved father creates a stronger family.

A glimpse into our offline couple's session in Coimbatore. Expecting fathers are learning hands-on skills and understanding the journey of pregnancy and childcare. It's about showing up with presence and love.

We had a special session just for grandmothers in Tiruppur. It was beautiful to see mothers and mothers-in-law show up, ready to learn and support their daughters. When the whole family is on the same page, the expecting mom feels so much stronger.

It was amazing to see these grandmothers attend my pregnancy class. They were so keen to learn how to support their daughters and daughters-in-law, bridging the generation gap with modern, evidence-based knowledge. They are the change.

Unsolicited advice can be one of the biggest stressors for a new mom. Comments like "you're not producing enough milk" or "you're always feeding" can undermine her confidence. The best support is encouragement and trust.

About For the Whole Family: Dads & Grandmoms

My couples sessions focus on real, hands-on skills rather than theory. Husbands learn how to burp the baby effectively and provide physical support during labor, while grandmothers are shown how to handle and bathe the newborn safely, easing the stress on new parents and reducing the pressure of outdated advice.
