Monthly Show Training Package (12 Sessions)
Movement & Conditioning
- Gait training on natural grass to optimize trot speed and drive.
- Leash handling techniques to ensure free movement without choking.
Stance & Stacking
- Hand Stacking: Manual leg placement training.
- Free Stacking: Self-stacking into breed-standard pose on command.
- Posture correction for angulation and topline display.
Judge Interaction
- Desensitization to stranger touch and physical exams.
- Training for teeth/bite checks and testicle examination.
- Focus work to maintain attention amidst other dogs.
Professional Show Handling (Per Day)
Ring Presentation
- Professional handling by Anil in formal attire (Suit/Blazer).
- Strategic piloting to highlight virtues and minimize faults based on judge preferences.
- Coverage for Breed Class plus Group and Best in Show lineups if qualified.
Pre-Ring Prep
- Final grooming touch-ups (brushing, spray, or powdering) immediately before entry.
- Warm-up exercises to loosen muscles and establish gait.
Exclusions
- Does not include show registration fees or travel expenses outside Bangalore.
About Conformation & Show Handling
From Puppy to Show Ring
I look at dog training as more than just commands. In the conformation ring, it’s all about focus, poise, and teamwork. The goal? To make your dog stand out as a true show contender.
What I Work On
- Stacking: Teaching your dog to hold that perfect breed pose. Namma dogs alli... ee thara barbeku antha (in our dogs, we say it should come like this). This takes time, but we keep at it till your dog stacks naturally.
- Gait Training: We practice on open fields, getting the movement just right. Judges notice that power and grace, so I focus on proper canine gait assessment.
- Ring Ready: Loud sounds, crowds, other dogs - I make sure your dog keeps cool, listens, and doesn't get distracted. Ring etiquette for handlers is part of what I teach too.
Who Can Join
If you have a purebred puppy (from 3.5 months old) or an older dog, we can start. I have a soft spot for German Shepherds, but all breeds are welcome. This is for shows under Kennel Club of India (KCI) and similar.

My Story
Hey, Anil here from An’s Dog Training Academy, Chikkabanavara. Most days, you’ll spot me running with dogs, sweating it out – this is my life, not just work. I’ve trained all sorts, from big Rottweilers to tiny pugs, and even have a bird at home. Dog shows make me proud, but honestly, it’s that bond with each animal that matters most. I’m all for ‘adopt don’t shop’ – every dog deserves happiness.
My Work
All-round Dog Training - We do basic obedience, show training, crate work, leash manners, and puppy obedience Bangalore style.
Active Training Style - Outdoors, lots of running, focus on action. Tired dogs are happy, disciplined dogs.
