12-Day Behavioral Correction Crash Course
Targeted Training Scope
- Single-Issue Focus: Addresses 1 to 2 specific behavioral complaints identified during consultation (e.g., jumping on guests or excessive leash pulling).
- Leash Manners: Intensive heel training on public roads and dirt tracks to ensure the dog walks calmly without dragging the owner.
- Basic Commands: Reinforces fundamental commands like Sit, Down, and Stay under moderate distraction.
- Desensitization: High exposure to environmental stressors like traffic noise and strangers near bus stops.
Accommodation & Care
- Housing: Individual concrete block kennels with iron mesh gates (dedicated external setup).
- Exercise: Rigorous calorie burning runs and walks on rural roads to drain energy.
- Meals: Twice daily nutritious meals (standard chicken and rice mix or owner provided kibble).
- Hygiene: Basic brushing and maintenance including a bath before handover.
Handover Process
- Transition Session: 45 to 60 minute session demonstrating new behaviors and teaching specific hand signals.
- Updates: 1 to 2 video updates per week via WhatsApp.

- Distance Control: Improving response to commands from a distance for off leash potential.

- Agility Basics: Introduction to traversing obstacles like low walls and barriers to build confidence.
Regimented Living
- Daily Routine: Military style schedule with morning PT (running), mid day drills, and evening socialization.
- Housing: Secure individual kennel accommodation with daily sanitation.
- Field Work: Training sessions conducted in large open grass fields to simulate park environments.
- Dietary Management: Strict adherence to feeding schedules to utilize food drive for training motivation.
Owner Education
- Rigorous Handover: 1.5 hour session for the owner to learn how to maintain the discipline at home.
- Mid-Program Visit: One optional visit allowed at the 2 week mark to view progress.
- Follow-up: One complimentary session at the facility within 30 days of discharge.

Why I Do This
For me, dog training goes way deeper than just teaching tricks. I’m all about building a real connection between you and your dog. In my immersive obedience bootcamp, your dog actually stays at my place, soaking in a routine of learning, discipline, and playtime. Away from home distractions, big changes can happen, sometimes even in under two weeks.

My Story
Hey, Anil here from An’s Dog Training Academy, Chikkabanavara. Most days, you’ll spot me running with dogs, sweating it out – this is my life, not just work. I’ve trained all sorts, from big Rottweilers to tiny pugs, and even have a bird at home. Dog shows make me proud, but honestly, it’s that bond with each animal that matters most. I’m all for ‘adopt don’t shop’ – every dog deserves happiness.
