About Board and Train Programs
I offer a board and train program that's truly a home-away-from-home for your dog. Your dog stays with me and my own dog, Floyd, not in a kennel or crowded facility. Everything happens here – training, play, relaxing – just like real life.
My Training Style
- Connection comes first: I work on building trust and engagement, not just commands.
- Play is a big part: We use games and natural situations for learning, not just drills.
- Training is part of our day, not a separate “session.”
What Your Dog Gets
- Real-life dog obedience skills: recall, leash manners, impulse control, “place,” and “stay” with distractions.
- Puppy board and train experience: potty basics, crate comfort, socialization, and gentle handling of nipping.
- Confidence-building for anxious or reactive dogs, including exposure to busy streets and new environments.
- If your dog has specific issues, I tailor the focus to them.
The Setting
- Dogs live in my home, not a kennel. We have cozy indoor spaces and a big fenced lawn for safe, off-leash play.
- Outings to different places help your dog generalize skills beyond my house.
What You Should Know
- This isn’t a quick fix. When your dog goes home, I show you exactly how to keep up the training, so the good habits stick.
- The biggest change happens when you’re involved and ready to keep going at home.
If you want your dog to learn in a real home with someone who gets that they’re not a robot, you’re in the right place.

My Story
Hey, I’m Garima. My days are mostly spent chasing after Floyd, my Belgian Malinois, who’s got more energy than a cyclone. He keeps me on my toes—hikes, swims, the works. I’m always learning from him and every animal I meet, whether it’s a goat called Mithi or street dogs like Bhoori. Animals break down walls, y’know? I’ve learned a lot from my mentor too—being a good guardian is about heart, not just commands.
My Work
Dog training sessions (in-person & virtual) - I do one-on-one work, puppy 101 crash course, board & train, plus anxiety management for dogs. Bangalore or online.
You learn to train your dog - I show you simple ways so you become your own dog's trainer. We’ll raise confident pups together.
Bond-based dog training - It’s not just about commands. We focus on trust, play, and real connection—setting healthy boundaries so everyone’s happy.
Respecting your dog's needs - Dogs aren’t humans. Let them sniff, dig, chew. Not all dogs want to play together and that’s totally fine.
No cookie-cutter plans - Every dog is different. We’ll make a practical plan—maybe recall training for a Beagle, or helping an Indie stay calm with guests.
