I transform commercial spaces into immersive hospitality experiences, blending grand architecture with the intimate, functional details that make a guest feel at home.

A hotel lobby should be a statement. For this project, I used bold geometry, luxurious black marble, and dramatic height to create a powerful first impression that is both modern and timeless.

This hotel facade design embraces the charm of Mediterranean revival architecture. I blended Old World elegance with modern sensibilities through arched windows, wrought-iron balconies, and stately columns to create a truly enchanting exterior.

This project at Hotel Ramayana in Ayodhya was about creating an experience of luxury and elegance. It has become a focal point for visitors, showcasing how I blend modern sophistication with cultural context in hospitality design.

This elegant hotel lobby design shows how I tailor each space to a unique vision. The design features classic arches, a statement Persian rug, and modern furniture to create a welcoming and sophisticated entrance.

This banquet hall design sets the stage for unforgettable events. I used a dazzling, custom chandelier and elegant seating to craft a space that feels both grand and intimate, perfect for special moments.

This hotel room is a blend of modern luxury and classic Eastern style. I used backlit panels with landscape art, warm wood tones, and a soft, layered lighting scheme to create a thoughtfully designed and comfortable guest experience.

Here, I've blended modern elegance with timeless Islamic architecture. The living space in this suite features an intricate jali work accent wall and a neutral color palette to create a cozy yet sophisticated retreat.

This video showcases a luxury retreat I designed in Nainital. I focused on creating serene spa spaces, an inviting restaurant, and cozy guest rooms that thoughtfully blend the natural surroundings with modern elegance.

The Hotel Ramayana in Ayodhya is one of my favorite commercial projects. This video celebrates the hotel's vibrant design, which has become a landmark in the city.

At the Hotel Ramayana in Ayodhya, I aimed to create a jaw-dropping experience. This space is a testament to my love for timeless elegance and epic proportions, where every detail is designed to leave you speechless.

About Boutique Hotel & Hospitality Design

Matching digital 3D renders to real-life construction is a technical challenge, not just a creative one. Whether it is sourcing backlit onyx for a lobby or specifying high-traffic acoustic paneling for a suite, I obsess over the 'gap' between the screen and the site. I ensure the finish you see in the design phase is exactly what we build on the ground.

Hospitality design is about more than aesthetics; it is about managing the flow of guests and staff while maintaining an atmosphere of luxury. My design process for boutique hotels starts with a deep dive into your brand story. If we are designing a restaurant or a hotel lobby, I focus on the 'experience moments'—the first impression at the entrance, the lighting in the dining hall, and the comfort of the private suites.

My Design Focus for Hospitality

  • The Visual-to-Physical Transition: One of the biggest failures in commercial design is the loss of detail from render to reality. I solve this by handling the technical documentation personally. From MEP planning for HVAC and fire safety to civil wall changes, every drawing is marked 'Good for Construction.'
  • Material Intelligence: I have an obsession with materials. For example, using natural onyx in reception areas requires specific lighting design to achieve that filtered, soft glow. Similarly, I use fabrics with high Martindale cycle counts for hotel upholstery to ensure the furniture looks new even after thousands of guest check-ins.
  • Acoustics and Comfort: A luxury hotel room must be a sanctuary. I integrate soundproofing panels and specific joinery details to ensure the noise of a busy hotel corridor never reaches the guest’s bed.

Case Study: Hotel Ramayana, Ayodhya

This project stands as a landmark in my portfolio. The goal was to create a space that felt both culturally relevant and modern. By blending intricate jali work with sleek, contemporary furniture, we created an environment that respects tradition but provides the high-end comfort modern travelers expect. Whether it is a boutique retreat in the hills of Nainital or a city mall in Srinagar, my focus remains on building structures that are functional, iconic, and built to last.

I am Sapna Aggarwal, and I don't just design rooms; I craft narratives for hotels and workspaces that make guests want to linger. My studio focuses on a 'less is more' philosophy, using crisp lines and rich textures to turn a generic floor plan into a distinct brand experience.
