About Meet the National Squad
Being part of our elite squad is not just about showing up. It means 6 days a week of intensive drilling, including double sessions when the competition season hits. We focus on specific tactics like headshot strategy and deficit recovery, ensuring you are mentally and physically ready to face the best in the country.
Joining the Elite National Squad at Anmol Taekwondo Academy is a serious commitment. This is the group for athletes who have moved past basic sparring and are now targeting CBSE Nationals, SGFI, and Khelo India podiums.
Our training philosophy is simple: no shortcuts. You can expect 2+ hour sessions, six days a week, with double training blocks during peak season to build peak stamina. We work on high-intensity agility drills and explosive plyometrics, because winning at the national level demands more than just skill. It requires endurance that lasts for three rounds and the tactical intelligence to exploit an opponent's defense.
We break down technical skills rigorously. You will train for specific scenarios, including deficit recovery and 'Golden Point' management. For sparring, we use professional gear like electronic chest guards (Hogu) and focus on advanced techniques like spinning hook kicks and clinching strategies.
Crucially, we handle the athlete management side too. If you need to manage your weight category or learn how to maintain your focus under the pressure of a referee’s call, that is part of the curriculum. My coaching does not stop at the gym door. I am there ringside, managing the warm-up, handling logistics, and providing the real-time tactical adjustments needed to win. This squad is about winning together and supporting each other through every match, whether you are fighting in Delhi or Raipur.
