Heritage Reimagined: Ancient Motifs for Modern Interiors
I translate the raw grace of India's ancient temple sculptures and murals into custom digital illustrations that anchor contemporary rooms. Let’s turn your space into a gallery of history.
A hand-illustrated artwork depicting an Indian sculpture of the goddess Durga. The design captures the intricate details of the deity's form, jewelry, and floral motifs, framed by a traditional border.
This video shows the digital illustration process behind the Durga artwork. Using a digital pen, I meticulously draw each detail, translating the power and grace of the ancient sculpture into a modern graphic format.
The final Durga artwork displayed in a contemporary interior. It hangs above a modern console, demonstrating how traditional art can be a powerful focal point in a modern home.
This artwork features a digitally illustrated ancient stone carving of a horse and rider. The design captures the texture and detail of Indian temple architecture, presented as a framed piece for a modern space.

About Heritage Reimagined: Ancient Stories, Modern Homes
The pieces you see here start as hand-drawn digital files, capturing every detail of a sculpture’s texture before I adapt them for your walls or furniture. Whether you choose to print these as large-format murals or intricate tile grids, the process is deeply collaborative. We will iterate on the scaling and composition together until the heritage motif feels perfectly at home in your modern floor plan.
For me, heritage is not just about nostalgia. It is about bringing the strength and storytelling of the past into the spaces where we live today. When I illustrate a temple horse or the goddess Durga, I look for the geometry, the flow of the carving, and the emotion behind the stone. Then, I interpret that into a format that works for your home.
This collection focuses on high-resolution digital art that does not fade. Because I use UV ink technology for printing, these illustrations stay crisp on veneers, glass partitions, or ceramic tiles.
Here is how we usually approach a project:
- Initial Consultation: We discuss which architectural element you want to highlight. Is it a grand hallway, a quiet study, or a kitchen backsplash?
- Digital Illustration: I create the artwork based on your chosen theme. We work through two rounds of changes to ensure the composition fits your wall or furniture dimensions exactly.
- Application: Once finalized, the art is printed directly onto your chosen surface—whether that is a glass wardrobe shutter, a wooden panel, or a set of bathroom tiles.
You do not need to choose between modern minimalism and traditional depth. My goal is to find the balance where the two meet. If you are looking to add a touch of history to your apartment or office, these motifs provide that bridge.

My studio is a mix of paint splatters, warm chai, and endless sketches. I don’t believe in standard design. I believe in taking the intricate stories of our heritage, like the Durga sculptures or temple horses you see here, and weaving them into the fabric of your daily life. It is messy, beautiful, and completely custom.
