Art for Commercial Spaces: Telling Your Business Story Visually
Your commercial space is more than four walls—it is a customer experience. I create custom murals, wallpapers, and hand-painted art that turn your brand’s story into something your customers can see and feel.
A custom Laughing Buddha wall art piece I designed for the restaurant Shanghigh. The artwork is created in an oriental style to match the restaurant's theme, adding a serene and joyful vibe to the ambiance.
This large-scale oriental pop art piece at Shanghigh creates a dramatic focal point in the dining area. The artwork blends traditional motifs with a contemporary, graphic style.

A wonderful testimonial from the owner of Shanghigh by Botai. It was a pleasure to bring their vision to life with custom artworks and wallpapers that captured the oriental and whimsical theme they imagined.
For Swagath restaurant, I designed nature-inspired and abstract artworks to enhance the ambiance. This floral mural uses soft tones to create a serene, garden-like feel in the dining space.
In collaboration with a design firm for a law office, I created this large-scale abstract artwork. The piece adds a smart, clean, and contemporary feel to the professional space.

For Havemore restaurant, I created a collection of hand-illustrated artworks celebrating Delhi's landmarks, like India Gate and Lotus Temple, all woven into a beautiful botanical theme. The ceiling also features a dreamy, colorful design.
About Art for Commercial Spaces
Designing for a busy restaurant or office is not just about picking a nice color palette. It is about understanding the lighting, the movement of people in the space, and how the art holds up to high foot traffic. Whether it is a UV-protected mural for a dining area or a high-resolution print on acoustic panels, I make sure the artwork is as durable as it is striking.
When you are running a business, your decor works for you. It greets customers, sets the mood, and builds your brand identity. I work closely with owners and designers to ensure the art I create does exactly that.
My process for commercial projects usually starts with a site visit. I want to see the space in action—where the sunlight hits, where customers naturally walk, and what the overall energy feels like. From there, we move to concept development. I create sketches and mood boards that align with your brand, whether you want something abstract and modern for a law firm or a vibrant, whimsical theme for a restaurant.
I also focus heavily on the practical side of things. Commercial spaces are tough environments. For high-traffic areas, I use direct UV printing on durable substrates like toughened glass or veneer, which are scratch-resistant and easy to clean. If you are looking for that warmth only hand-painted work can provide, I apply multiple coats of clear, wipeable varnish to protect the surface.
I have collaborated with spots like Shanghigh and Havemore to build environments that linger in the minds of your guests. If you have a blank wall that needs a voice, let’s talk about how to fill it.

I’m Ankita. My studio is where the magic happens—and yes, it is usually covered in paint tubes and sketchbooks. I don't believe in generic decor; I believe that if you run a business, your walls should be doing half the talking for you.
