Behind the Scenes: Creating Natural Moments

You will often hear me say, "thoda idhar" (a little this way) or "haan, perfect" during our time together. My process is less about rigid posing and more about guiding you into natural interactions. Whether I am adjusting a swaddle during a newborn session or helping a family coordinate their movements, my goal is to keep you laughing and relaxed while the camera works.

I believe that the best photos aren't staged. When you walk into my Guttahalli studio, the first thing I want you to feel is at home. We start by getting comfortable—no rush, no stiff instructions. If the kids are shy or if you are feeling nervous about your first maternity portrait, we take a few minutes to just chat and settle in.

The Creative Process

For studio sessions, we work with two distinct setups. We might start with clean, classic formal backdrops, then transition to our boho corner with pampas grass and macrame. I love watching how families relax into the space, moving from self-conscious to genuinely playful.

Outdoor and Lifestyle Photography

When we take the shoot outdoors to Bangalore’s parks or urban spots, the energy shifts. We rely on natural light and the environment to tell the story. I bring simple props like picnic blankets or bubbles, but the real magic comes from you interacting with each other. My role is to observe and catch those fleeting, honest connections—the ones you’ll want to look back on in ten years.

Why I Focus on Comfort

Whether it is a newborn, maternity, or family session, the technical side of photography—the lighting, the lenses, the editing—is my job to handle. Your only job is to be yourselves. By keeping the atmosphere light and using gentle, clear guidance, I ensure that the final images feel like a memory, not a production.
