Don’t worry if your little one is having an off day. My studio sessions are built to be flexible and unhurried, so if we need to take a break for a snack, a cuddle, or a quick change to keep them happy, we just do it. The best smiles come when they are actually having fun, not when they are told to say cheese.
Your Child, Just As They Are
Milestone shoots are not about stiff, posed perfection. They are about capturing the way your two-year-old giggles when they see balloons, or the wonder in your five-year-old’s eyes when they are exploring. Whether it is a milestone birthday, a cake smash, or just a random growth check, my goal is to document their personality at this specific stage of life.
Studio vs. Outdoor Sessions
- In-Studio: My Guttahalli studio is designed to be a safe, controlled environment. I use props like vintage suitcases, teepees, and themed setups to create a story. It is perfect for classic portraits where we can control the light and focus entirely on those little expressions.
- Outdoor: If your child loves the open air, let us head to a local Bangalore park. Outdoor sessions at golden hour are fantastic for active toddlers who need space to run, laugh, and play. We will capture them in their element, making for candid, sun-kissed memories.
Making it Comfortable
I know kids can get overwhelmed easily. That is why my sessions are paced slowly. I use a mix of 'thoda idhar' (a little this way) coaching for parents and gentle, playful interaction for kids. If they are not in the mood for a formal portrait, we shift to play-based photography. Bring their favorite toy, a comfort blanket, or even a specific outfit they love. These personal touches make the final gallery feel genuinely yours.
