In every 12-week season, we cap enrollment at 12 writers. This isn't a lecture hall; it's a tight-knit writing gym where I read your work, we dissect the anatomy of your scenes, and you get honest feedback on your draft, not just theory. You arrive with an idea and leave with a manuscript that has been stress-tested by a professional author.
What Actually Happens in the Attic?
The 12 weeks are designed to move you from the 'blank page' stage to a finished manuscript. We meet on Saturdays for intense, hands-on sessions. We aren't just talking about plot points; we’re figuring out why your story isn't working and what needs to change to make it publishable.

- Industry Reality: You won't just get advice from me. You have live, interactive sessions with commissioning editors from publishers like Westland and Penguin. You learn how agents think and what makes a manuscript stand out in an editor's slush pile.
- Manuscript Critique: You get a full, intensive 1-on-1 evaluation of your work-in-progress. I look at your structure, your pacing, and your marketability. If a character is flat or the dialogue is weak, I will tell you.
