About Author Development Program
What You Get with Us
Writing a book can feel like driving in the dark - you only see a little ahead, but you keep going. That’s where I come in, giving you a nudge or a push so you don’t stall. My goal is simple: help you discover your unique voice and actually finish your manuscript.
My Approach
Writing needs practice, not just passion. Think of the Attic as your writing gym. Show up, work those writing muscles, get honest manuscript feedback sessions, and learn to say what you really want to say.
How It Works
- 12 weeks, all online, so you join from wherever you are
- Only 10-12 writers per group - you actually get heard
- Bring your project: novel, stories, nonfiction, poetry, scripts, even graphic novels
- Small group writing cohort means you get real support, not lost in the crowd
Real Mentorship & Industry Access
I’m with you for the full ride - reading your work, talking craft, helping you through writer’s block. Every week, you meet publishers, editors, literary agents, and authors. You get industry insider publishing tips, not just theory.
Beyond Writing: Build Your Author Presence
We don’t stop at the page. Sessions on author branding guidance and digital presence so you’re ready for the real world, not just the workshop.
Community & Showcase
You’re not alone here. The group becomes your first readers. At the end, you present your work at our public showcase. Once you’re in, you’re always part of the Attic’s network - published or not, you’ve got people.
If you’re ready to work, this is for you - whatever your genre, wherever you are in your writing journey.

Anita's Attic
My Story
I’m Anita. I started Anita’s Attic because, yaar, I just couldn’t ignore those stories bubbling up inside me and everyone around me. I’ve been the ‘Quota Girl’ boxed in, so I know how tough it is to find your voice. That’s why Attic is not some stiff course. It’s a real, messy, warm space—Zoom or chai, it’s all about writing, sharing, and growing together. We celebrate wins, eat ice cream, and sometimes, watch our writers’ books turn into movies. That joy? Can’t beat it.
