Martial Arts Community and Dojo Life in Gurugram
Martial arts is more than just training; it is the community you build along the way. Step inside my dojo family.
With the love of my life, my husband. His support is my greatest strength and a constant source of my motivation on this journey.
With my Soke, Tamas Weber. I am forever grateful for his wisdom, guidance, and the martial arts family he has built. His teachings shape who I am both inside and outside the dojo.
Recovery is just as important as training. Here I am taking a post-workout ice bath to help my muscles heal, a true test of mental and physical resilience.
Staying active with my kids while preparing for a 5km marathon. Fitness is a family affair, and I love sharing these fun, healthy moments with them.
The feeling of happiness after a good 5.57km run. Running is a great way to build cardiovascular endurance, which is essential for any martial artist.
A post-training selfie, feeling tired but accomplished. This is the look of someone who gave their all and is ready to come back and do it again tomorrow. Keep going!
About Our Dojo Family & Moments
True strength is not built in isolation, and it certainly is not built only on the mats. My recovery routine, like those ice baths you see, is just as crucial as my training sessions because consistency requires me to listen to my body. Whether I am running marathons with my boys or learning from my Soke, Tamas Weber, this lifestyle is about balance. You are not just joining a class; you are joining a family that supports every rep, every run, and every recovery day.
Martial arts is often seen as a solo pursuit of belt progression, but in my dojo in Gurugram, we do things differently. I believe that whether you are practicing Shitoryu Karate, BJJ grappling, or hitting the heavy bags, your progress depends on the environment around you. That is why I treat my studio not just as a training floor, but as a space where we support each other’s personal battles.
Being a martial artist means showing up even on the days you do not feel like it. I am a mother, a wife, and a Sensei, and I share these moments—the early morning runs with my kids, the grueling ice bath recovery sessions—because I want you to know that the grit is real. It is not just about the technique you learn; it is about the resilience you build when you have a community pushing you to be better.
We train hard, but we also value the mentorship that keeps us grounded. My own journey has been shaped by the wisdom of my Soke, Tamas Weber, and I strive to bring that same level of mentorship to my students. If you are looking for a place where you will be pushed to your limits, taught to embrace discomfort, and welcomed into a community that celebrates your growth, you belong here. We are not just here to fight; we are here to become stronger, together. Hum aaj ki naari hain, and we push forward every single day.
