About Toddler & Kids Studio Portraits
My studio in Bilekahalli is set up for quick, active sessions because I know kids rarely sit still for long. I use a mix of clean backdrops for classic looks and fun props like wooden tricycles or small chairs to keep them engaged, ensuring we get genuine smiles rather than forced poses.
When you book a studio session for your toddler or kids, the goal is comfort above everything else. My studio is a temperature-controlled space, which is perfect for ensuring kids stay happy throughout the shoot.
How I Approach the Shoot
Kids are unpredictable, and that is exactly what I want to capture. During our 2-hour sessions, I balance two distinct styles:
- Classic Portraits: These are clean and simple shots against a solid backdrop, focusing on their expressions and eyes.
- Playful Interaction: I incorporate props like mini-chef kits, painter sets, or ride-on toys. This is where I capture the laughter and the movement.
Tips for a Great Session
- Timing: Kids are usually happiest after a nap and a meal. Let me know their schedule so we can plan the best time.
- Outfits: While I have a collection of rompers and accessories, feel free to bring 2 of their favourite outfits to give the photos a personal touch.
- Engagement: If your child is shy, I encourage parents to play along for the first few minutes. Once they see you laughing, they usually warm up to the camera quickly.
