About Outdoor & Golden Hour Sessions
When we shoot outdoors, we strictly stick to the golden hour—right at sunrise or just before sunset—to get that soft, warm light. You will need to cover any entry fees for the location, like Lalbagh or Cubbon Park, but I handle bringing the props like teepees, picnic baskets, or vintage suitcases to set the scene.
Outdoor shoots are all about letting kids be themselves while we capture the energy of the moment. I balance my sessions with about 30% posed portraits—those classic shots where everyone is looking at the camera—and 70% candid interactions. Whether it is a toddler running through tall grass or a quiet moment between parents, the natural surroundings do most of the work.
I usually shoot in popular spots like Lalbagh or Cubbon Park, but if you have a private backyard or a quiet garden in mind, I am happy to come there too. For the props, I bring a range of items including teepees, picnic baskets, and vintage suitcases to add a bit of structure to the open space.
Please keep in mind that these sessions are weather and time-dependent. Since we need that specific sun positioning for the golden glow, I will coordinate the exact timing with you based on the sunset forecast. You handle the location entry fees, and I handle the rest. I offer up to two costume changes, so you can switch between a formal look and something more casual for the playtime shots.
