Outdoor Golden Hour Photography in Bangalore
I take my camera out into Bangalore's parks and gardens to chase the light. These sessions are all about letting your child explore, play, and just be themselves while I capture the magic.

About Outdoor Adventures & Golden Hour
Outdoor sessions are entirely dictated by the light. I schedule these exclusively during the golden hour—either at sunrise or about 90 minutes before sunset—when the harsh Bangalore sun softens into that warm, glowing haze. It means we have to be flexible if the clouds roll in, but it’s the only way to get those natural, dreamy tones that make orchard or park backdrops really pop.
Unlike the controlled environment of my studio, outdoor shoots are unpredictable—and that’s exactly why I love them. Whether we are in a quiet corner of a park, a lush garden, or a scenic lakebed, the goal is to capture your toddler or family interacting naturally with the world. I bring the props—vintage suitcases, teepee tents, and cozy blankets—but the real star is your child’s genuine curiosity.
My Approach to Outdoor Shoots
I practice a 'guided-candid' style. I’ll give you a loose structure, like setting up a picnic or exploring a forest path, but I don't force stiff poses. If your child wants to chase bubbles, pick up leaves, or run through the grass instead of sitting for a formal portrait, we follow their lead. That is where the best expressions happen.
Practical Details
- Timing: We must stick to the golden hour. If you’re not an early riser, the sunset slot is definitely your friend.
- Traffic: Bangalore traffic is a reality. Please plan to arrive a little early so we don't lose that fleeting light while you’re stuck on the road.
- Weather: Outdoor shoots are weather-dependent. If it looks like a monsoon downpour, we will simply reschedule.
- Permits: While most public parks are fine, if you have a specific private location in mind, please check if they require photography permits. I am happy to work with you on finding the right spot that fits your family's vibe.
