Rural Maharashtrian Charm Baby Photoshoots
Bring your little one to life in a classic village-style setup. I handle the props, the authentic bailgadi, and the traditional outfits right here in my Kolhapur studio.

About Rural Maharashtrian Charm
This setup is built around a handcrafted miniature bullock cart, or bailgadi, that is perfectly sized for your toddler. It keeps them stable and comfortable while providing that authentic, rustic look that defines our rural roots. I keep the traditional white kurtas and accessories ready in the studio, so you can arrive without needing to pack a single prop.
Capturing the Soul of the Village
Many parents come to me looking for something that feels less like a modern studio portrait and more like a memory of our heritage. This theme is about stripping away the distractions and focusing on that classic, rural Maharashtrian aesthetic.
What goes into the frame
- The Bailgadi: The centerpiece is a wooden miniature bullock cart that acts as a safe, interactive prop for your child. It adds depth and a sense of movement to the photo that a simple background cannot.
- Authentic Styling: I provide the traditional white kurta and Gandhi cap. These are curated to look clean, timeless, and respectful of our culture.
- Studio Comfort: Since I do these shoots in my Nehru Nagar studio, we don't have to worry about weather or lighting. I have full control over the mood, ensuring the 'village' backdrop looks soft, warm, and natural.
Why this theme works
It connects your child to our history in a way that feels playful rather than formal. Whether you are celebrating a festival like Bail Pola or just want a unique cultural portrait, this theme provides a timeless result. Parents often choose this because it serves as a beautiful, simple contrast to the more elaborate festival setups like Janmashtami or Bal Shivba.
If you have a specific vision for the background or want to add elements like traditional farm accessories, let me know before you book. I am happy to customize the setup to match exactly what you are looking for.
