About Newborn's First Portraits
Newborn sessions need patience, so I block out 3.5 hours for your shoot. This gives you plenty of time to feed, soothe, or cuddle your baby whenever they need it, as we never rush. My studio is temperature-controlled for your baby’s comfort, and I always have an assistant present to help with safe, gentle posing while you relax nearby.
My Approach to Your Baby's First Portraits
The best time to capture these portraits is between 15 and 25 days old. At this stage, babies are still sleepy and comfortable with the classic, curly poses that make these photos so special.
What happens in the studio: My studio in Nehru Nagar is fully prepped for newborns. I keep it warm to ensure your baby doesn't get cold during the change of outfits or poses. Safety is my priority, which is why I use an assistant for every session to support the baby while I work on the lighting and angles. We focus on natural, gentle positions—nothing forced or uncomfortable.
Props and Wardrobe: You do not need to bring a thing for the baby. I provide a wide range of sanitized, soft-knit rompers, swaddles, headbands, and miniature furniture. Whether you want the classic 'bear in a basket' look, a creative Harry Potter setup, or a simple, minimalist aesthetic, I have the props ready to go.
What your package includes:
- Session Time: 3.5 hours of dedicated studio time.
- Themed Setups: 3 distinct looks, from bean bag posing to prop-based shots.
- Deliverables: You receive 12 to 15 high-resolution, professionally retouched images. I also share the raw data (40-50 shots) so you have the complete memory of the day.
- Prints: Every newborn session includes a framed A4 print or a set of 4x6 prints to take home.
