Family and Generational Portraits in Kolhapur

When I photograph families together, the biggest challenge is not lighting or complex poses. It is getting three generations to relax at once. I start by focusing on the baby or the youngest child to set a natural mood. Once they are calm, I gently bring the parents and grandparents into the frame, focusing on their shared smiles and touches rather than stiff posing.

These sessions are about capturing the silent connection between a grandmother holding her grandchild or the look of pride on a father's face. I handle these sessions in my Nehru Nagar studio where we have enough space for everyone to be comfortable. Because I work with newborns and small kids, the studio is temperature-controlled and quiet, which makes a big difference when you have elderly family members who might tire easily.

I do not believe in over-editing these moments. You want to see the real you, not a filtered version. Whether you want a formal portrait for the wall or a candid shot of the whole family laughing together, we will spend the first few minutes just talking and settling in. My goal is to make sure you walk away with an heirloom that feels like your family, not a stock photo.
