About Maharashtrian Traditions

You don’t need to hunt for tiny dhotis or authentic jewelry. My studio has everything ready, from Paithani sarees and Varkari phetas to mini idols and bullock carts, so you just walk in with your baby and we start the shoot.

Why Traditional Themes?

Capturing your child in traditional Maharashtrian attire isn’t just about a cute photo, it’s about honoring our roots. Whether it’s the devotional look of a little Varkari or the festive joy of Ganpati Bappa, these themes create lasting keepsakes of our local culture.

What’s Included in Your Session

My studio is fully equipped, so you don't need to stress about sourcing costumes or accessories.

  • Authentic Wardrobe: We provide dhotis, Paithani sarees, phetas, and traditional jewelry sized specifically for infants and toddlers.
  • Themed Props: From miniature bullock carts and thrones to musical instruments like the veena and tabla, every detail is selected to match the theme.
  • Setup: Whether it’s a Pandharpur temple backdrop or a festive Ganpati setup, I manage the lighting and staging to ensure a professional look without feeling stiff.

A Stress-Free Experience

Kids, especially infants, are unpredictable. My studio in Nehru Nagar is designed to be a comfortable space where they can play or nap between shots. We factor in time for feeding and soothing, ensuring that when the camera clicks, we get a genuine smile rather than a forced pose. If you’re coming from Sangli, Ichalkaranji, or nearby areas, let me know in advance so we can plan the studio schedule accordingly.

I’m Aminesh, and I’ve spent years photographing Kolhapur’s traditions. I love seeing tiny versions of our local heroes, like Varkaris or Bal Shivba, in my studio. My goal is to capture those cultural moments that make our families proud, without the fuss of you having to arrange a single prop.
