Real talk: the secret to a high-shine chrome or cat-eye finish isn't just the polish, it's the prep. I start every session with a Russian dry manicure to ensure your nail plate is perfectly smooth. If the prep is messy, the chrome will peel and the cat-eye magnetic line won't pop. We don't skip steps here, so your sparkle actually lasts through your daily routine.
Why Chrome and Cat Eye?
People think it's just about the top coat, but these styles require precision. For chrome nails, I use high-quality powders that need a specific base to mirror properly. If the surface isn't perfectly buffed, you'll see streaks instead of that smooth, metallic finish.
With cat-eye gel, it is all about the magnets. I move the magnetic particles while the gel is wet to create that deep, 3D 'floating' light effect. Whether you want a subtle French tip with a cat-eye accent or a full-blown galaxy look, I make sure the depth of the color is just right.
The Process Matters
I treat your nails as a canvas. When you come to my studio in Malad, we first assess the health of your natural nails. If they are brittle, I don't just cover them up.
