There is nothing more special than designing for a mother and her daughter on a wedding day. Here, I created custom blouses for both the beautiful bride and her mum, ensuring their looks were harmonious and elegant for the big celebration.

About Mother-Daughter Duos

I often use the same thread colour or motif on your blouse and your daughter's lehenga, so you look like a team without trying too hard. This lets us pick fabrics that actually suit both your ages and comfort levels while keeping that special connection intact.
When I design for mother and daughter duos, I look at the big picture. We don't just copy the adult's outfit and shrink it down, because that rarely results in a comfortable or flattering look for a child. Instead, I start with your primary outfit, whether it is a Kanjivaram or a silk saree, and then source fabrics that complement it perfectly for your daughter.
My process involves:
- The Consultation: We discuss the event, the vibe, and the fabrics. I want to know what you are comfortable wearing so I can match that comfort for your little one.
- The Embroidery: I often replicate the Maggam work from the mother's neckline on the daughter's borders. It uses Zardosi and antique gold beads to ensure both outfits feel high quality.
- Construction: For children, I pay extra attention to the lining and volume. I include can-can layers for that festive flare they love, but I ensure it is soft and irritation-free.
Whether you are looking for a 'Sabya' style heavy blouse or a simple, elegant Langa Voni, the goal is to make sure you both look like a team. I handle all the fabric sourcing for the child's outfit, so you do not have to worry about running around to find a perfect match for your saree.
