Badminton Technique and Skill Refinement Training in Delhi

You can have all the power in the world, but without the right technique, it stays on the court floor. My coaching is about fixing your grip, footwork, and wrist movement so every shot counts.

This drill is one of the best for improving wrist strength and flexibility. A strong and flexible wrist is essential for generating power and control.

Here, I am working with Delhi state runner-up Eshaan Duggal on his wrist movement. These drills improve the speed and quality of shots, especially at the net.

A deception multi-feed drill with one of my youngest players. I am teaching him how to disguise his shots to keep his opponent guessing.

A simple but effective drill to practice correct arm action. Proper form is the foundation for powerful and consistent shots.

My junior players practicing hand and arm movements. These exercises help develop the muscle memory needed for quick and accurate racket skills.

About this collection

Most players make the mistake of swinging from the shoulder. In my classes, we spend hours just on wrist flexibility and rotation. Whether you are struggling with a net kill or your service, I will break down your action, show you the mistake, and feed shuttles until you get the movement right.

Technical refinement is not just about watching videos; it is about building muscle memory. When you train with me at AKS Badminton Academy in Mayur Vihar, we do not just rally for fun. We isolate movements.

Building the Foundation

For beginners, we start with the grip and basic swing path. You cannot play a high-quality game if your hold on the racket is wrong. We use static feeding to drill these movements until they feel natural.

Advanced Skill Drills

For intermediate and state-level players, we focus on deception and speed. I use heavy multi-feed drills—sometimes 30 shuttles in a set—to force you into the correct wrist rotation for smashes and delicate net shots. As I always tell my students, ek second, maarna (wait a second, then hit). That extra split second of patience and correct wrist action makes the difference between a weak return and a winning shot.

Why Train Here

We train on four indoor synthetic courts, so weather is never a reason to skip practice. Whether you need biomechanical correction for your serve or want to improve your agility through hurdle jumps and sprints, the setup here is designed to make you a complete player. If you are serious about winning medals in Delhi state tournaments, you need to be ready for the discipline of my sessions.
