Handmade Devotional Art and Custom Portraits
From detailed charcoal sketches of deities to custom avatars of your little ones. Here is a look at my favorite works.
This custom A2 size color pencil portrait of a child as Bal Krishna for Janmashtami is one of my most cherished creations. It shows how I can turn your photo into a divine masterpiece.
A powerful depiction of Mahadev, created using graphite and charcoal. This piece captures the dynamic energy of Lord Shiva, standing strong with his Trishul against a moonlit sky.
A serene and colorful portrait of Siya Ram, drawn with colored pencils. This artwork is filled with devotion and captures a quiet moment of divine love, perfect for bringing peace to any space.
The final reveal of my large, framed acrylic painting of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. This video shows the scale and vibrant detail of the finished artwork after 84 hours of dedicated work.
Here is a great example of my custom deity portrait service. I transformed a child's photo into this vibrant artwork of Lord Murugan, complete with his peacock and Vel.
The divine feminine power of Maa Durga, captured in a striking charcoal drawing. The deep blacks and subtle highlights bring out her intense yet compassionate expression.
Watch the creation of a Bal Krishna sketch from the first pencil stroke to the final shaded details. This timelapse shows the meticulous process behind my hyper-realistic charcoal art.
About this collection
Everything I draw starts with a prayer. When you commission a piece, we don't just pick an image; we talk about the specific mudras, expressions, or ornaments you want to see. I always share a visual update during the outlining phase so you can see the foundation of the work before I commit to the final shading or paint. Whether it is a charcoal portrait of Mahadev or a colored pencil piece of your child as Krishna, I make sure the details reflect your vision.
My process is designed to bring that peaceful vibe into your home. For black and white work, I use a blend of graphite for smooth skin tones and charcoal for deep, rich blacks on 200gsm acid-free ivory paper. Every sketch is finished with a matte fixative spray so your portrait stays smudge-free for years.
If you are looking for color, I use professional-grade wax-based pencils like Polychromos, applying a burnishing technique to get that vibrant, paint-like finish. For larger wall art, I work with heavy-body acrylics on cotton canvas, sealing them with gloss varnish to protect against dust and UV rays.
I handle everything from the initial sketch to the framing, using synthetic wood frames with clear glass or acrylic protection. Everything is packed securely in heavy-duty boxing and shipped across India. If you have an idea for a custom avatar—like putting your kid in the role of a deity—I create a digital collage draft first so we are both on the same page before I pick up the pencil. Whether it is a gift for a wedding or a centerpiece for your mandir, I put the same focus into every stroke.
