Featured Hand-Drawn Portraits & Spiritual Sketches
A selection of my work capturing emotions, devotion, and memories through graphite and charcoal on paper.
This is why I do what I do. Capturing the pure innocence of a baby in a hand-drawn graphite portrait is a special feeling, but seeing their reaction is everything.
This is more than a sketch, it's a prayer on paper. A custom graphite portrait of Mahadev, combining detailed realism with Marathi calligraphy that reads "Namah Parvati Pataye Har Har Mahadev".
A glimpse into the process of creating a Radha Krishna portrait. Every stroke is a meditation, focusing on capturing the divine love story through their eyes. This is a charcoal and graphite piece on 200 GSM paper.
The process and final reveal of my Chintamani Ganesha sketch. I use a protective sheet to keep the charcoal from smudging as I build layers of detail, ensuring the final artwork is clean and sharp.
Taking my original hand-drawn art and turning it into something you can hold and share. This video shows the creation of my spiritual art postcards, from the artwork to the personalized messages and packaging.
My hands might get messy with charcoal, but it's all worth it to create a beautiful, realistic portrait for a client. This shows the contrast between the process and the polished final piece.
The creation of my Hanuman sketch, a symbol of strength and devotion. This time-lapse shows the process of building muscle definition and form using graphite pencils on Brustro paper.
This small business is my personal journey of empowerment. I started it so that no one could ever say, "if it were a son, he would have handled it." Every sketch is a step forward.
About Featured
When you commission a piece, you are not just getting a drawing. I work exclusively with Brustro 200 GSM acid-free paper and professional-grade graphite to ensure every detail, from the soft texture of a baby's skin to the intricate patterns in spiritual art, is captured with precision. I keep you updated throughout the process, especially with larger family portraits, allowing one round of minor edits before final sealing so the result feels truly yours.
Art is my therapy, and each sketch in this collection represents hours of focused, meditative work. Whether it is a realistic portrait or a spiritual piece, my process remains the same: I prioritize texture, contrast, and depth.
My Artistic Approach
I specialize in graphite and charcoal because of the raw emotion they convey. For spiritual pieces, I often integrate Marathi calligraphy to ground the art in tradition, while my portraiture focuses on capturing the spark in the subject's eyes.
Ordering & Process
- Reference Quality: The final result is heavily dependent on the clarity of your photo. I prefer high-resolution images to ensure I can capture the skin textures and facial details accurately.
- Timeline: Depending on the size (A4 or A3) and complexity, sketches generally take 5 to 14 days to complete. I ship across India with secure, layer-protected packaging.
- Spiritual Commissions: I frequently create sketches of Swami Samarth, Mahadev, Radha Krishna, and Ganesha. If you have a specific deity in mind, share the reference photo, and we can discuss the composition to suit your space.
Sketchink Studio
I'm Isha. By day, I'm an architect, but Sketchink Studio is where my heart really lives. This is my small way of showing that with enough grit and a few good pencils, you can turn a passion into something that truly touches people's homes.
