About this collection
Before I start drawing, we will chat about the specific Mudras or Alankars you want for your chosen deity. Whether you are looking for a vibrant acrylic painting for your living room or a delicate colored pencil sketch for your home mandir, I focus on matching the artistic style to the specific energy of your space.
My process is deeply rooted in devotion. When I draw figures like Shiva-Parvati or Siya Ram, I aim for more than just a likeness; I want the artwork to bring a sense of peace to your home.
For colored pencil pieces, I use professional-grade wax or oil-based pencils on 250gsm heavyweight paper. I employ a burnishing technique to saturate the colors, giving them a rich, paint-like finish that avoids fading. If you prefer a larger, statement piece for your wall, my acrylic on canvas works are created on primed cotton canvas with a gloss varnish finish to protect against dust and moisture.
These pieces are not just static images. I treat every portrait as a prayer. From the initial outlining phase where we define the posture and background elements, to the final detailing of jewelry and ornaments, you are part of the journey. For custom requests—such as transforming a photograph of your child into a deity avatar—I provide a digital collage draft first to ensure we are aligned on the composition before I pick up the pencil.
Because I handle everything from the initial sketch to the final synthetic wood framing, I ensure the packaging is sturdy enough for safe delivery anywhere in India.
Artist Akhil
I am Akhil. For me, sketching isn't just work, it is my form of prayer. When I sit down to draw Mahadev, Krishna, or Siya Ram, I try to capture that exact feeling of peace I find in my faith and share it with you.
