Fun & Fundamentals Gymnastics for Kids
We believe kids build the best foundations when they are having fun. Our recreational classes help children aged 3 and up develop strength, coordination, and confidence in a high-energy, screen-free environment.
Discipline starts early. I teach even my youngest students the importance of listening and following instructions, creating an organized and effective learning space.
We build leg strength and coordination through simple, fun exercises. Here, I guide our youngest gymnasts through vertical jumps, teaching them proper form from day one.
A day in our class involves a mix of activities. We move from energetic warm-ups to skill-building exercises like walking on the balance beam with my close supervision.
This is what a full class looks like. I guide a large group of children through seated stretches, ensuring everyone participates and learns together.
Proper form is essential, even in basic stretches. I demonstrate each move clearly so the children can follow along and learn the correct techniques for flexibility.
Coordination is a skill we build step by step. In this drill, children learn to move together, following my lead to improve their timing and body awareness.
Fitness is a family affair. During our "Parents Weekend," moms and dads join in on the fun, trying out exercises and sharing a healthy, active experience with their kids.
Laughter is a key part of our training. I believe that a positive and fun atmosphere helps my students build friendships and stay motivated while they work hard.
After a session of focused training, there's always time for some fun. These lighthearted moments help build camaraderie and make the kids excited to come back.
About Fun & Fundamentals (Ages 3+)
It is not just about doing flips; it is about learning to focus. Every session blends playful movement with essential drills, like vertical jumps and balance beam walks, so your child develops body awareness while staying genuinely excited for the next class. We keep our groups small and the energy high, ensuring every student gets the attention they need to build confidence from day one.
How We Coach
We approach coaching with a mix of discipline and play. When we say 'Banni banni' (come, come), we are welcoming kids into a space where they learn to listen, follow instructions, and respect the rhythm of the class. Our foundational batches for children aged 3 to 15 are structured to move them beyond screen time and into active physical engagement.
What Your Child Will Learn
Every 60-minute session is designed to improve motor skills and physical conditioning:
- Rhythmic Conditioning: We use 8-count beats to help kids move in time, building musicality and coordination.
- Motor Skill Drills: Through marching, step-touch routines, and jumping jacks, we build stamina without the monotony of typical exercise.
- Strength & Flexibility: Using floor markers and foam blocks, we introduce assisted splits and leg strengthening moves to prepare muscles for more advanced gymnastics training.
Safety and Facility
We train in a high-ceiling industrial facility specifically adapted for gymnastics. We utilize professional-grade padded puzzle mats and sprung floors to absorb impact and prevent injury. Our coaching style relies on strict verbal correction to ensure form is correct, but we always pair this with encouragement because we know that a positive attitude keeps kids coming back.
Getting Started
We run batches 2 to 3 times a week, typically on weekends or weekday evenings. Whether your child is naturally athletic or a complete beginner, our goal is to see them master the basics, make new friends, and develop the discipline required for any sport.
