Commercial design is less about trends and more about how a space functions every single day. We focus on layouts that prioritize efficiency, natural light, and user well-being.

This sheet shows the detailed section and elevation plans for the St. John's Hospital project. This technical phase is crucial for understanding the building's vertical circulation and exterior appearance, ensuring the final structure is as practical as it is visually composed.

This collage displays the first-floor plan and interior views of a patient ward room at St. John's Hospital. The design prioritizes patient comfort and operational efficiency, with clean layouts, durable materials, and ample space for medical equipment and movement.

This is the central courtyard of the St. John's hostel block, covered by a large skylight. This design feature brings abundant natural light deep into the building, creating a bright and pleasant common area that promotes a sense of well-being.

An open-to-sky courtyard within the St. John's hostel provides a space for fresh air and greenery. The design incorporates built-in seating and planters, offering students a quiet place to relax and connect with nature within the building complex.

This newspaper article from the Deccan Herald announces the opening of the 108-bed St. John's Hospital. It details the specialty services offered and highlights the facility's role in providing affordable healthcare, which was a key consideration in my design approach.

About Functional Design for Commercial Spaces

In our work on the St. John's Hospital project on Kanakapura Road, we didn't just design a building; we mapped out patient flow. We placed nursing stations for visibility and integrated large skylights in the hostel courtyard to ensure natural light penetrates the building, making it a healthier, more breathable space for patients and staff.
