Modern Minimalist Home Interiors in Bangalore
Your home should not just look like a magazine spread, it needs to work for the life you live. I create functional, light-filled spaces by blending modern minimalism with warm, local materials.
This view of the living room highlights the custom ceiling design with integrated cove lighting, which provides a soft, ambient glow. The layout is planned for conversation, with comfortable seating and large windows framed by simple curtains to maximize natural light.
The dining area is seamlessly connected to the living room, defined by a wooden archway that maintains an open feel. The design uses a consistent material palette of wood and neutral tones to create a cohesive flow between the different functional zones of the home.
This television unit is an example of my "less is more" philosophy. The floating console keeps the floor clear, making the room feel larger, while the wood-paneled shelving and ceiling detail add architectural interest without clutter.
This is the exterior of a residence in Indiranagar, showcasing a blend of modern form with traditional materials. The facade features an intricate exposed brick jaali screen, which provides privacy and ventilation for the upper floor while creating a strong visual statement.
The entry to a home should be a transition from the outside world. Here, I used natural stone, a small pebble court with plants, and warm accent lighting to create a serene and welcoming entrance that sets a peaceful tone for the rest of the house.
About Homes That Feel Like Home
When I approach a residential project, the transition from the street to your living room is critical. You can see this in my use of pebble courts and warm accent lighting at entrances, which immediately shift the mood from the city's hustle to a sense of calm. This deliberate flow is built into every floor plan, ensuring your space feels like a sanctuary from the moment you step inside.
My design process revolves around the philosophy that good architecture makes a space feel alive. Whether we are planning a compact 20x30 plot or a larger residence, the goal is to optimize every square foot for utility and comfort. I prioritize large windows, cross-ventilation, and open layouts because a well-lit home is inherently more positive and requires less artificial energy.
I am deeply invested in using local materials. You will often see wire-cut exposed brick cladding and terracotta jali screens in my work. These are not just aesthetic choices; they regulate indoor temperatures, provide necessary privacy, and age beautifully.
From initial 2D space planning to the final coat of paint, I manage the execution personally. This ensures the structural integrity of the project matches the vision. If you are looking to renovate an old home or build a new one, I help navigate the complex process of selecting durable materials—like BWP plywood for kitchens and premium emulsions for walls—ensuring the final output is as practical as it is beautiful. My focus is on getting the details right so you have a home that functions seamlessly every day.
