About Creative Puppet Making & Craft Workshops
I bring everything needed for the workshop, from pre-cut paper shapes and googly eyes to non-toxic glue and crayons, so you don't have to worry about the cleanup. Whether it’s a dragon, a fish, or a funny clown, the kits are designed so every child, even the little ones, can assemble their puppet with ease and take home something they truly created themselves.
My craft workshops are not just about keeping kids busy, they are an extension of the storytelling. When the puppet show wraps up, we shift gears from watching to doing. I have found that giving kids a hands-on task right after a performance helps them process the story and express the emotions they just experienced.
I prepare all the kits myself, keeping them age-appropriate for 2 to 8-year-olds. We usually start with a simple assembly, like sticking wings onto a paper bag dragon or adding fins to a fish, using child-safe materials. It is wonderful to watch how they personalize their creations. One child might make their dragon fierce, while another gives theirs a funny hat and big eyes.
I can set up these craft stations almost anywhere in Bengaluru, whether you have a dedicated activity room or just some open floor space at your apartment clubhouse. If you are planning a birthday party and want to keep the energy high after the main show, these workshops are the perfect follow-up. They work just as well for small playdates, large corporate family days, or school events.
I also include other activities like parachute games, hula hoops, or bubble chases if your space allows for it. My goal is to make sure every child leaves with a big smile and a handmade friend. Let me handle the mess and the materials, while you just focus on the smiles.
