Stop guessing your shots. Whether you're a corporate weekend warrior or just starting out, we use bowling machines, video analysis, and rigorous drills to build real muscle memory. Learn to bat with a technique that actually holds up in a match.

Facing the bowling machine is a great way to groove your technique. Here, we're working on waiting for the ball and playing it late to improve control and placement.

Our indoor net sessions at Ace Batala provide a controlled environment to work on your batting, rain or shine. Here, a player gets valuable time in the middle facing our coaches.

A classic front foot drive being honed during an over-arm throwdown session. This drill helps batsmen get used to the ball coming from a height and practice their forward defensive and attacking shots.

The pull shot is a crucial part of any batsman's arsenal. We use lob ball drills to help players get into the right position early and execute the shot with power and control.

We teach a full range of shots, including the sweep and reverse sweep. This rapid repetition drill with a drop ball helps build the muscle memory and quick footwork needed to play these shots effectively against spinners.

Shadow practice is fundamental for building a solid technique. Here, our players work on the back foot drive, focusing on balance and bat flow without the pressure of a live ball.

Perfecting the back foot drive through shadow practice. This drill helps ingrain the correct movement, balance, and bat path, forming the foundation of a strong back foot game.

Another look at our net sessions at Ace Batala. Consistent practice against different types of bowling is the key to becoming a versatile and confident batsman.

This back foot judgement drill with a lob ball trains a batsman's reflexes and decision making. It forces you to quickly assess the length and get into position to play the right shot.

The slog sweep is a powerful boundary option. We use drop ball drills to help players practice getting low and generating maximum power through the shot.

About Batting Technique: From Fundamentals to Power Hitting

You won't just stand around waiting for a turn. In our weekend batches and 1-on-1 sessions, we use bowling machines to give you 20-30 minutes of solid, high-intensity ball-striking practice. If your head falls or your front foot doesn't move, we catch it on the spot with video analysis so you stop repeating the same mistake.

Great batting isn't about flair; it's about eliminating bad habits. At Aarka, we break down your batting technique into repeatable, mechanical movements. We don't care if you're a beginner or a veteran player looking to polish your game; the fundamentals remain the same.

Our Training Approach

We move you through a clear progression:

  • Shadow Practice: We start without the ball to fix your stance, balance, and bat flow. This is the only way to hardwire proper muscle memory.
  • Drill-Based Learning: We use drop balls and lob balls to isolate specific shots—whether it's the front foot drive, the sweep, or the pull shot. We keep the repetitions high until the movement feels natural.
  • Bowling Machine Sessions: Once your mechanics are sound, we use bowling machines to simulate match-speed deliveries. This builds your reflex time and allows us to test your technique under pressure.
  • Video Analysis: We don't guess. We record your stance and swing on smartphones to provide frame-by-frame biomechanical feedback. You see exactly where your head position or backlift is going wrong.

Why This Works

Most casual players struggle because they only practice at match intensity without fixing their foundation. Our sessions at ACE GNW and Batala focus on 'smart' repetition. You’ll be tired, you'll be sweating, but you’ll also be fixing the flaws that get you out. Whether you need to tighten up your defense for a corporate league or add more power to your drives, we give you the actionable feedback you need to actually improve.

At Aarka, we don't care if you've never picked up a bat or if you're an office leaguer trying to fix your pull shot. We just care that you're willing to put in the work. You show up, we fix your stance and technique, and we make sure you leave the nets better than when you walked in.
