The Shop: Curated Brand Pop-Up Experiences
I treat my studio space like a blank canvas. For 'The Shop,' I combined creative direction, brand curation, and set design to turn my Lado Sarai studio into a community-focused pop-up market.

Simple, colorful decorations that added a festive feel to the space. It's about creating a welcoming and visually interesting environment.
Even the outdoor areas got a creative touch. These yarn-bombed branches were a small detail that added a lot of character.

Branding details are so important. These custom tags were part of the decor, reinforcing the identity of the event and the space.
About Event Curation: The Shop
When I put together 'The Shop,' it wasn't just about renting out my Lado Sarai studio space to vendors. I handled everything—from designing hanging installations that utilized our high ceilings to coordinating with F&B partners—to make sure the atmosphere felt like a proper community market, not just a dry exhibition. If you are looking for someone to help you curate a space, I don't just offer four walls; I offer a full visual identity for your event.
The truth is, an event is only as good as the vibe you build around it. People don't just come to shop; they come to feel something. That is why my event curation process starts way before the doors open.
My Approach to Curation
I focus on the intersection of retail and experience. Whether it is a launch or a pop-up, I look at the narrative first:
- Space Transformation: I use my background in set design to rethink the floor plan. We are talking custom mobiles, yarn-bombed branches, and lighting that actually adds warmth. I don't like 'cold' event spaces, so we make it cozy.
- Brand Synergy: I don't just pick random brands. I curate a lineup that makes sense together—from fashion to coffee—so the audience feels like they are walking through a cohesive world, not just disjointed stalls.
- The Logistics (The Boring But Necessary Stuff): From permits to crowd management and marketing materials, I handle the nitty-gritty. You focus on your brand; I focus on the flow.
Why The Studio Works
My Lado Sarai studio is 1800 sq ft, which gives us plenty of room to play with verticality and movement. It is not a rigid hotel ballroom. It has character. We have hosted everything from Christmas markets to brand-specific showcases here. If you have a vision for a pop-up event in Delhi, let's chat about how we can build a world around it.
Aanchal Rai
I'm Aanchal, and I don't believe in boring, generic exhibitions. My studio in Lado Sarai is my creative playground, and for 'The Shop,' I basically threw the rulebook out the window to create something that actually feels like a community, not just a sale.
