On-Location Campaign Production
Taking a brand's story on the road requires more than just a camera. I handle the logistics, scouting, and creative direction to ensure your shoot feels authentic, not forced.

About On-Location Campaign Production
Planning an on-location shoot is a completely different beast compared to studio work. It is not just about the aesthetic, it is about the recce, the permits, and the unpredictability of the weather, like that Goa shoot where the rains wouldn't stop. I manage the full production so you can focus on the vision while I worry about the logistics.
Beyond the Studio Walls
When you move a production out of the studio, you are trading control for character. My job is to make sure we keep the character without losing control. Whether we are scouting a heritage site in Jaipur or chasing the golden hour at a coastal spot, I handle the heavy lifting of production management.
How I Manage On-Location Shoots
- Location Scouting & Permits: I do not just pick spots that look good. I look for places that fit your brand story, checking accessibility, light quality, and the all-important permission requirements so we don't get shut down halfway through.
- Logistics & Crew: A traveling crew needs structure. From coordinating local artisans, like we did for the Folksong Stories campaign, to managing travel itineraries, I keep the team focused on the output.
- Adaptive Creativity: Things go wrong. Rain happens, props break, models get tired. My strength lies in adapting the concept on the fly. We use these moments to make the work feel more real, not less professional.
Why it Matters
Your brand deserves more than a standard shoot. By integrating the environment into your narrative, we create a campaign that feels lived-in. Whether it is the textures of a local street in Baku or the calm of a riverside set, every element is chosen to speak to your audience. If you want a campaign that feels like a conversation rather than an advertisement, we will get along just fine.
Aanchal Rai
I do not just show up to take photos. I live, breathe, and plan the entire campaign journey, whether that's in my Lado Sarai studio or halfway across the country. It is about getting the vibe right, managing the crew, and making sure the final output feels honest to who you are.
