Fashion & Editorial Lookbooks
Let’s move past rigid briefs and boring templates. I create fashion lookbooks that feel like real stories, blending authentic street-style energy with professional editorial precision.
Part of a personal festive lookbook project. I played with print-on-print styling, combining a floral jacket with striped pants for a bold, eclectic look.
For this look, we added a teal wig to introduce an unexpected pop of color. It's about pushing creative boundaries, even in festive wear.
Capturing movement on the streets. The wind caught the teal ponytail perfectly, creating a dynamic and spontaneous shot.
A closer look at the styling for this festive lookbook, featuring a mix of bold prints and statement jewelry.
Styling a pre-draped sari from Goldysnestt. I paired it with bright orange stockings for a modern, color-blocked twist on a traditional silhouette.
We found this blue tarp shed on the street and it became the perfect impromptu backdrop, matching the sari's color palette beautifully.
The beauty of shooting on the streets is finding these raw, undone spots that add so much character to a fashion shoot.
A look from my festive lookbook featuring a stunning silver sari from Warra.in. The bold red wall makes the cool tones of the outfit stand out.
For this look, we went with a bold, wine-colored lip to complement the silver outfit and push beyond my usual neutral makeup comfort zone.
Capturing the beautiful movement of the draped sari. The fluid fabric and the model's stride create a sense of effortless elegance.
About Fashion & Editorial Lookbooks
Lookbooks shouldn't just showcase clothes, they need to show life. Whether we are shooting in the chaos of the streets to capture that gritty, raw energy or using my Lado Sarai studio for a controlled, clean aesthetic, my approach is about breaking the mold of a typical catalog shoot. We focus on movement, candid emotion, and styling that feels achievable yet aspirational.
Creating a lookbook is about finding the soul of your collection and translating that into frames that stop a scroll. I don’t believe in static, stiff poses. My process involves building a narrative. Sometimes that means hunting for the perfect raw location in Delhi to offset a delicate sari, like finding a blue tarp shed that unexpectedly highlighted a vibrant pre-draped look, or using bold makeup and accessories to twist traditional festive wear into something edgy.
For brands, this means we handle the heavy lifting:
- Conceptualization: We start with the why. What is the collection saying? We build a mood board that defines the color palette, the vibe, and the casting needs.
- On-Set Direction: Whether it’s a destination editorial shoot or a focused studio day in Lado Sarai, I’m there directing the movement, tweaking the styling, and ensuring the photographer captures the details, like the way fabric flows or the texture of a knit.
- Styling with an Edge: I’m not afraid to mix things up. Teal wigs, bright stockings, or unconventional layering. If it makes the look more memorable, we do it.
If your brand is looking for editorial photography in Delhi NCR that doesn't feel like a factory-produced ad, let’s talk. We aim for that balance of high-fashion editorial polish and authentic, relatable storytelling. It’s about creating assets that don’t just fill your feed but stop people in their tracks.
