From Sketch to Reality: The Design Process

My design process does not stop at the drawing board. I bring my clients onto the site, not just for updates, but for tactile decisions—touching the wood veneer, testing the light, and adjusting the proportions of a custom built-in until it feels right. This is where the sketch meets reality, and where I ensure that every finish is as functional as it is beautiful.

True design happens in the quiet moments between the concept and the completion. When you hire me, we start with a deep-dive conversation to understand not just what you want your home to look like, but how you intend to inhabit it. I begin with hand-drawn sketches to capture the initial spirit of the space. These rough ideas form the backbone of the project, allowing us to focus on flow and light before we commit to specific materials.

Once the concept is locked, I translate these sketches into hyper-realistic 3D renders. This is where you see your home before we begin. We walk through the floor plans, adjust the placement of electrical points, and finalize the lighting schemes. This phase removes the guesswork, ensuring that your investment in fixed interiors—from flooring to false ceilings—is sound.

My role as your designer is most critical during the on-site execution. I do not believe in handing over a project to a contractor and walking away. I am present to ensure that the vision we created on screen translates accurately into the room. We check the grain of the wood, the depth of the shadow channels, and the finish on the joinery. My goal is to deliver a space that is maintenance-free and timeless, where every detail has been placed with intention.
