Why I Design Commercial Spaces
I design workspaces that actually feel like they belong to your brand - not just pretty, but with a real sense of purpose. For me, it’s all about finding the right mix of comfort, function, and clean design. I keep things simple: straight lines, warm colours, and nothing too flashy. The idea is to make a space that’s inviting and professional without losing the vibe.
How I Work
- I start by digging deep into how your brand works and what you need, not just what looks nice.
- Visualization is big for me. I create detailed 3D renders, so you know exactly what you’re getting before anything gets built.
- Once we’re locked in, I draft all the technical drawings and handle the planning.
- I’m hands-on during execution, making quick calls on-site and working side-by-side with contractors.

- For a big flooring brand, I made a showroom that feels more like a home - with flexible zones, industrial touches, and spaces that adapt for events. That’s experiential retail design in action.

My Story
I’m both an interior designer and an artist, so my work mixes both. When I started Aakriti Saraf Design, I wanted every space we touch to feel personal, like it’s telling your story. We’ve done everything from Kerala-inspired homes in Bengaluru to peaceful hideouts in high-rises. Intentional, calm, quiet luxury is our thing. I also co-founded an art venture because I believe art brings soul to spaces. Getting featured in Elle Decor felt good, not for the fame, but for showing that thoughtful design matters.
