The Art of Stillness: Living & Social Spaces

Your living room should be where you pause, not just pass through. I create spaces that balance sculptural design with the quiet, everyday comfort your home demands.

About this collection

Before we select a single piece of furniture, we look at how you actually use your living room. Whether you need a layout that handles weekend guests or a corner quiet enough for morning tea, my process starts with 2D space planning that optimizes flow. We use hyper-realistic 3D renders to refine those layouts, ensuring the proportions—like the distance between your coffee table and sofa—feel right the moment you walk in.

In every home I design, the living room serves as the narrative anchor. It is where form meets function, and where I reconcile the need for a polished visual impact with the reality of daily living. My approach to Bengaluru homes often involves a neutral shell, using textures like lime wash or subtle wallpapers, that allows for intentional pops of color through upholstery and art.

A recurring challenge in modern apartments is achieving that airy, open-plan feel without compromising on privacy or utility. I solve this by focusing on furniture placement that naturally divides zones without using intrusive barriers. For instance, low-slung, linen-toned sofas combined with matte-black metal accents create a grounding effect. I pay close attention to lighting schemes, moving away from bright, uniform illumination toward a layered mix of architectural COB lights, magnetic tracks, and warm, floor-level ambient lamps.

When it comes to materials, I prefer tactile elements. Think hand-knotted wool rugs, boucle fabrics, and solid wood frames. These are not just aesthetic choices, they are durable and wear beautifully over time. If you have existing heirlooms or an art collection, we integrate them into the design rather than hiding them. Every piece, from a custom bookshelf to a statement coffee table, is vetted for both its sculptural presence and its daily practicality.
