About Interior Styling & Decor
My Styling Approach
I see design as quiet poetry - not just about making things pretty but shaping a space that feels world-class and personal. I want your home to be a place of comfort and elegance, easy to live in, and full of warmth. I don’t do sterile showpieces. Every detail matters, but the vibe has to be relaxed and inviting.
Elements That Make Your Space Yours
I work with four main pillars:
- Canvas: I start with earthy color palette styling - think warm neutrals, soft beiges, and greys. Pops of color like blush pink or deep green add personality. Black accents bring depth.
- Furniture: I mix contemporary vintage furniture with pieces that connect and create zones. Sometimes it’s a plush velvet sofa, sometimes a rattan chair or clean marble console.
- Art & Artifacts: Personalized art curation is at the heart of what I do. I can blend your own art or find pieces that speak to your story - from heirlooms to modern sculptures.
- Textures: Layered textiles for living spaces is my signature. Patterned rugs, velvet, boucle, cushions, throws, wood, stone, brass, and those small objects that make the space feel lived in.
How I Work
We’ll collaborate closely. I get to know your vision, then create realistic 3D renders so you can see how things might look. I handle the process from start to finish. The real magic happens during on-site styling, when everything comes together organically. Not every space is easy, but the journey is always worth it.

My Story
I’m both an interior designer and an artist, so my work mixes both. When I started Aakriti Saraf Design, I wanted every space we touch to feel personal, like it’s telling your story. We’ve done everything from Kerala-inspired homes in Bengaluru to peaceful hideouts in high-rises. Intentional, calm, quiet luxury is our thing. I also co-founded an art venture because I believe art brings soul to spaces. Getting featured in Elle Decor felt good, not for the fame, but for showing that thoughtful design matters.
