About Sacred Spaces & Pooja Setups
When setting up for a Janamashtmi or Mata ki Chowki, the most common hurdle is getting the layout right within a cramped clubhouse or living room. We prioritize sturdy, non-wobbling pipe-and-drape backdrops to create a clean 'darbaar' effect, and we ensure the floor seating arrangement leaves a clear, open path for the Panditji and your guests to move comfortably throughout the ceremony.
Creating a sacred space requires more than just fabric and lights; it requires understanding the flow of a ceremony. Whether it is a home-based hawan, a society-level Janamashtmi, or a traditional Mata ki Chowki, we handle the infrastructure so the energy of the event remains undisturbed.
The Backdrop & Darbaar
For chowkis and festive setups, we use reliable pipe-and-drape systems. These are essential for masking household walls or blank clubhouse surfaces, instantly creating a dedicated space for the deity. We stick to traditional color palettes—think deep reds, marigolds, and bright pinks—to ensure the space feels authentic rather than staged.
Floor Seating & Comfort
We know that long rituals mean guests need comfort. We provide clean mattresses with crisp white covers arranged in specific configurations—typically U-shapes for better visibility of the hawan kund. For elderly guests or those who prefer it, we have banquet chairs ready to be placed on the periphery.
The Practical Details
We do not just set up the main stage. We look after the peripheral needs: the buffet tables for prasad, the lighting for the evening (so the idols are clearly visible), and the entrance signage. If you are hosting in a Gurgaon society like Uniworld Gardens or a private villa in Sector 47, we know how to navigate the common logistical constraints of these spaces.
Why Plan Ahead
Religious events often have specific auspicious timings. We prefer to set up our stages and structures a few hours early to avoid the last-minute rush, allowing you to settle in before the rituals begin.
