About A Family's Legacy: Portraits with Parents & Siblings
When we include parents and siblings in a newborn session, the focus shifts to the connection rather than just the baby. I provide the designer wardrobe for mom and guide older siblings so everyone feels relaxed, not posed. We set aside 3 to 4 hours, which gives us plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and waiting for those spontaneous, unscripted moments of tenderness that define your family's beginning.
My studio in Yelahanka is designed for these slower, more intentional sessions. Unlike standard photography that rushes through setups, I believe in creating a calm environment where your family can actually breathe. These sessions are about the 'firsts'—the way a father holds his newborn with strength, the quiet gaze of a mother, and the wonder in a sibling's eyes as they hold their new baby brother or sister.
Why family portraits matter
Your baby will grow, but these photos remain. I focus on creating fine art portraits that you will want to hang on your walls, not just store on a hard drive. We use a mix of classic, minimalist setups and soft, natural textures to ensure the focus stays entirely on the human connection.
Preparing for your session
- Wardrobe: For the Premium Heirloom Package, you have full access to my client closet, including designer gowns and silk drapes for mothers. This takes the stress out of planning your outfits.
- Timing: We move at the baby's pace. If they need a break, we take one. If they are hungry, we feed. This is why we block out up to 4 hours for the full family experience.
- Safety: Every pose, whether with parents or siblings, is 100% baby-led and supervised for safety.
