You might notice in these clips that I never rush. A newborn session lasts two to three hours specifically because we pause for feedings, diaper changes, and soothing. Your baby sets the pace, not the clock, ensuring they remain calm and comfortable while I capture those tiny details.

My approach is entirely baby-led. In my Yelahanka studio, safety is the foundation of every setup. Whether we are using wraps to create a womb-like, secure feeling or settling a baby into a basket, my hands are always close, and the environment is controlled for temperature and light.

I focus on the physiological needs of the newborn first. If a baby is hungry, we feed. If they need to be held, we hold them. This is why I schedule ample time for every session. It removes the stress for you, the parents, and ensures the baby enters a deep, natural sleep, which is the only way to get those serene, curly poses.

For sitter sessions, the dynamic shifts. We move from quiet, soothing poses to active, playful moments. I use tactile, organic props like wooden bowls, soft blankets, and textured fabrics that don't overwhelm the baby's skin. My goal is to capture genuine expressions—the gummy grins and curious gazes—without forcing a pose. This process isn't just about taking a photo; it is about creating a calm, respectful environment where your family's story can unfold naturally.
