About Featured
You need to decide if you are training for basic fitness or the podium. My foundation batches focus on stance correction and flexibility, but if you join the elite squad, expect a 6-day-a-week regimen with full-contact sparring. I do not sugarcoat the training—if you are serious about winning medals, you will be in the sparring cage three times a week, learning how to handle real match pressure.
Our Approach to Winning
At A.V.S. Taekwondo Academy, we do not believe in shortcuts. My philosophy is simple: it does not matter who you are when you walk in; it matters what you become through consistent effort. We train for results, from local Delhi State Championships to high-stakes events like the Mt. Everest International Open G-2.
The Training Pathway
- Foundation Training: This is for those starting out. We focus on Ap kubi and Ap seogi stances, basic blocking mechanics, and snap kicks. You will work on flexibility through partner-assisted stretching to ensure your range of motion is competition-ready.
- Elite Combat Squad: This is for serious competitors. We train 6 days a week with 120-minute sessions that include morning outdoor conditioning, weight strategy guidance, and full-contact Kyorugi sparring. We use heavy shields for power drills to ensure you have the strength for spinning hook kicks in a real match.
Where We Operate
We hold sessions at Mahendra Park in Adarsh Nagar and at Manava Bhawna Public School in Nathupura, Delhi. Our facility is equipped with 25mm puzzle mats and professional chest guards to ensure safe, full-contact practice. If you are aged 6 or 36 and ready to work harder than you ever have, you belong in our dojang.
