Behind the Lens: The Storytelling Process

When you see me adjusting a Nanlite tube or a prism during a shoot, I am not just fiddling with gear. I am actively manipulating the light to create that moody, cinematic look you see in my portraits. These behind-the-scenes moments are part of the process where I strip away the noise of a busy wedding to focus purely on the art of the frame.

My process is simple: I look for the quiet in the noise. Whether I am shooting a traditional Maharashtrian wedding in Mumbai or a destination event in Rajasthan, my approach remains consistent. I focus on creative fine art photography, using techniques like double exposures and controlled lighting to ensure your photos do not just document the event but express the emotion of it.

The Gear and The Art

I shoot with Canon full-frame mirrorless systems and Sigma Art lenses. While the gear matters, it is the application that counts. I often integrate prisms and off-camera flash setups to add depth and texture to your images. This is why you will see me moving around, testing shadows, or asking for a second of silence to nail the shot.

I often work alongside other top photographers, which has trained me to be flexible and highly collaborative.
