I look for the quiet, soulful moments behind the chaos of your wedding day. No staged poses, just your story captured in portraits with light and shadow.

A creative and award-nominated bridal portrait, with the bride's face partially obscured by a pearl-studded veil that has the groom's name on it.

A striking close-up bridal portrait, using split lighting to create a dramatic and captivating look. This is fine art portraiture at its best.

A classic, elegant portrait of a groom in his sherwani and pearl necklace, with soft window light highlighting his features.

An artistic and unconventional bridal portrait, placing the bride in her traditional Nauvari against a rustic, deconstructed background.

A candid portrait of the groom adjusting his cufflink, captured in soft, natural light.

A collage of the groom getting ready, using architectural framing and capturing candid moments.

A regal portrait of the groom on his wedding day, looking out from a balcony.

A wide shot of the groom standing in a beautifully arched hallway, creating a sense of grandeur.

A collage of the groom with his groomsmen, capturing the fun and supportive moments before the ceremony.

A powerful portrait of a Maharashtrian bride in a stunning orange saree, standing before a large banyan tree.

About Bridal & Groom Portraits

For these portraits, I do not use a standard backdrop. I prefer playing with the natural architecture of your venue or using creative off-camera lighting to carve out the mood. You might see me moving a lamp or asking you to step into a shadow—that is just me looking for the right frame that feels like a piece of art rather than a standard wedding snapshot.

Your wedding portraits shouldn't look like they were pulled from a generic catalogue. My approach to bridal and groom photography is rooted in fine arts—I view the camera as a tool for storytelling, not just documentation.

Whether it’s a quiet moment while getting ready, adjusting a cufflink, or the intense focus behind a bridal veil, I prioritize authentic expression over heavy direction.

Technical approach I use full-frame Canon mirrorless systems combined with off-camera flash and continuous lighting tools like Nanlite tubes. This allows me to create high-contrast, moody images even when the venue lighting isn't ideal. If you see a portrait with dramatic split lighting or a soft blur, that is a result of the specific lenses and framing techniques I bring to the shoot.

What you can expect I do not believe in holding you in uncomfortable poses for hours. I provide direction when needed, but mostly, I look for how you naturally inhabit your space. We will capture the classic, sharp portraits for the family, but we will also spend time on the artistic, cinematic shots that reflect who you are.

From Maharashtrian weddings where I focus on the intricate details of Nauvari sarees and jewelry, to modern ceremonies where we play with architectural framing, I adapt my style to the environment. I am based in Mumbai, but I travel across India for projects where I can really focus on the art of the portrait.

I am a storyteller who happens to use a camera. My style isn't about perfectly posed photos; it’s about finding the calm in the middle of your wedding day. I work with light, shadows, and honest emotions to capture portraits that feel real.
