About this collection
We do not practice 'drop-and-go' on the first day. Instead, we offer a dedicated settling-in period where you are welcome to stay within the classroom, allowing your child to explore our prepared environment and connect with their teachers at their own pace before starting their independent journey.
A Space Designed for Tiny Hands
At Chimes, every inch of our 10,000 sq ft facility in Basavanagudi is crafted with the child in mind. You will notice that our shelves are low, open, and filled with authentic wooden Montessori materials like the pink tower and cylinder blocks. This isn't just decoration; it allows children to choose their own activities, fostering deep concentration and a sense of ownership over their learning.
Moving Beyond Traditional Preschool
Most schools focus on rushing children to a desk. We take a different path. We believe that for a child to learn, they must first feel safe and capable. Our indoor classrooms are intentionally quiet and clutter-free, keeping distractions to a minimum so that children can focus on tasks like pouring water, folding mats, or working on botany puzzles.
The Importance of Outdoor Play
Physical movement is crucial for early development, which is why we provide a 6,000 sq ft outdoor play area. It includes sandpits and climbing structures where children can run, test their coordination, and learn social boundaries in a secure setting. Our teacher-child ratio of 1:8 ensures that whether your child is in the classroom or the playground, they are always closely supported.
