The first few weeks aren't just about teaching 'sit'; they're about preventing future behaviour issues before they start. During our 12-session foundation program, we focus on real-life skills like calm vet visits, house manners, and ignoring street distractions, so your pup learns to be a well-adjusted, confident member of the family rather than just a robot following commands.
Why Foundation Training Matters
Puppyhood is a whirlwind. While it's tempting to focus solely on teaching tricks, the real goal of these early months is socialisation and teaching your puppy how to 'be'. My 12-session private in-home program is designed to build a lifestyle, not just a list of commands.
What we cover:
- Socialisation: We work on gentle desensitisation to city sounds like traffic, doorbells, and construction noise, so your pup stays calm in the real world.
- House Manners: We tackle the common hurdles—potty training, biting, chewing, and jumping on guests. We establish routines that help your pup understand what you expect inside the home.
- Core Skills: You'll learn the 'how-to' for recall (coming when called), loose-leash walking, and the 'place' command. These are safety-critical skills that make daily life easier for both of you.
- Brain Games: A bored puppy is a mischievous one. I teach you how to use enrichment—snuffle mats, puzzle toys, and games—to tire out their brain, which is often more effective than just physical exercise.
How we work together
This program is a partnership. I provide the techniques and the roadmap, but your consistency is what makes your little raaja beta shine. We'll use positive reinforcement exclusively—treats, play, and praise—to make learning feel like a game. You also get unlimited WhatsApp support between our sessions, so if you're struggling with a specific potty accident or a biting fit, I'm just a text away to help you pivot. By the end of our time together, you'll have the tools to handle the ups and downs of life with a dog, feeling confident that you've set them up for success.
