About The Yukba Woman: Our Clients & Muses

When you choose a custom outfit, it is rarely just about the final stitch; it is about the design process. We sit down to discuss everything from your preferred neckline and fabric feel to the specific embroidery motifs, ensuring the silhouette fits not just your measurements, but your personal style for the event.

At Yukba, my approach to designing for a client is deeply personal. Whether you are coming in for a bridal lehenga, a reception gown, or a coordinated outfit for a family function, the journey starts with a conversation. We move beyond just 'getting a dress' to understanding the occasion, the venue, and the look you want to project.

The Design Journey

Every piece begins with a consultation where we select fabrics—be it raw silk, velvet, or fluid georgettes—and map out the embroidery placement. I specialize in handwork techniques like Aari and Zardosi, but I always balance these heavy details with the wearer's comfort. For instance, if you are planning a sangeet performance, we focus on lighter, moveable fabrics; for a wedding ceremony, we might prioritize heavy structural work to ensure the lehenga holds its shape.

Our Expertise

  • Bridal Wear: Custom lehengas featuring 10 to 16 panel construction for that perfect flare, complete with cancan mesh for volume.
  • Reception & Party Wear: Indo-Western drapes, gowns, and ruffled sarees that integrate modern cuts with traditional craftsmanship.
  • Embroidered Blouses: A core specialty. I focus on sleeve details, necklines, and intricate back designs that complement the saree rather than overpowering it.
  • Family Twinning: We often create coordinated sets for mothers and children, ensuring everyone looks connected while maintaining individual style.

Located in Panduranga Nagar, my studio is open for those who want to move past off-the-rack choices. If you are based in Bengaluru and have a specific vision for your next occasion, let’s discuss the details, the timeline, and the possibilities for your next outfit.
