My Aari and Zardosi work involves mapping out the pattern before a single thread touches the fabric. This is essential for symmetrical motifs like peacocks or floral jaals.

The Technical Approach

• Weight Management: Heavy stone work or dense Zardosi can weigh down lighter fabrics. I apply high-quality cotton lining and canvas reinforcement so the structure remains firm, not flimsy.
• Modern & Traditional Fusion: I often combine traditional techniques with contemporary elements, such as sheer organza panels or cutwork scalloped edges, to keep the design fresh.
• The Finishing Touches: Every sleeve is completed with hand-made latkans or precise piping, ensuring the transition from sleeve to body is seamless.

I believe in transparency. If you choose a heavy embroidery package, expect dense coverage that holds its shape. For minimalist styles, we focus on subtle borders and clean lines.
