Newborn Close-up Photography in Mumbai
The newborn stage moves in the blink of an eye. I focus on those tiny, fleeting details—the curled toes, sleepy yawns, and perfect little hands—to help you hold onto these memories forever.

About The Little Details
These macro shots aren't just about your baby; they are about perspective. When you look at a photo of a tiny foot held against a parent’s palm, you instantly remember exactly how small and vulnerable they were. I use soft, natural lighting and simple, textured backgrounds to strip away the clutter, ensuring every wrinkle, patch of soft fuzz, and quiet yawn remains the only focus of the frame.
Why Detail Matters
Newborns change so quickly. The specific, microscopic details—the way a thumb curls, the texture of their skin, the curve of a tiny ear—fade from memory faster than you think. My sessions are specifically designed to isolate these features. By using macro photography, I turn these small physical traits into timeless art pieces for your home.
The Setup: Comfort First
When shooting these close-ups, baby comfort is my absolute priority. Whether we are in my Powai studio or at your home, I use hypoallergenic, baby-safe wraps and fabrics.
- In-Studio: I have a curated collection of rustic bowls, textured blankets, and woven baskets that provide a neutral canvas. This ensures the attention stays purely on your baby.
- At-Home: I often use natural window light to capture these details. It’s perfect for parents who prefer a candid, relaxed environment without heavy studio equipment.
Preparing for Your Session
If you are worried about your baby fussing, please don't be. Newborns are unpredictable. My process is slow and gentle. We stop for feedings, cuddles, and diaper changes whenever your little one needs it. I have the patience to wait for that perfect, sleepy, or wide-eyed moment. If you missed the first 14 days, don't worry. I also do these detail-focused sessions for babies up to 6 months, capturing the new expressions and milestones that come with that slightly older, more interactive stage.
